What a pleasant surprise! The pink religieuse (rose flavored) was perfection. Not too floral, but just enough to have that wonderful flavor. And the eclair was great. Definitely worth a stop here.

Very good patisserie with easy parking at the foot of Castlenaud. We really enjoyed their panatone and brioche.

A real good bakkery, the bread and sweet stuff is incredible for a normal price. After you bought something you can enjoy it a few meters further at the river Dordogne. Thumbs up if you like my review.

I know this area very well and gradually the great local Boulangerie have closed. This year I have to say after a few visits this one has become worse and worse. Sure they do fancy expensive cakes etc but the true Boulangerie bread products are very poor quality. The staff are rude and unhelpful especially, it would appear, to tourists. I will drive the extra distance to Cenac where they still understand quality and service.

I have to admit — these cakes are the best I've ever tasted. I also don't understand the negative concern from another commenter about staff — a kind lady served us very well even with a language barrier. It is so pity that we don't have such a bakery in my town.
