The castle is excellent. Known for being heavy, this one is very light and excellent. I took it for my 40th birthday, I will also take it for my 45th birthday in a month and a half. Excellent pastry chef.

While passing through on our way back from vacation we found a charming pastry shop in a village that is just as charming! We would have liked to take a mae for fun being a fan of the artist but there was no more it was not a big deal we left with a good wholemeal bread and had a bit of a chat with the owner, a break on the road very nice for the children and us! We will definitely come back for a coffee one of the next years 😂

We wanted to have breakfast here on the “terrace” on the morning of June 18, 2021, 30 minutes after the store opened. We quickly lowered our expectations when we noticed the somewhat shabby furniture, which consisted of some kind of beer tent furniture. Mr Martichon kindly pointed out to us that his coffee machine was not yet ready for use due to the heat, causing severe disappointment on our empty stomachs. Well, we definitely took 2 very tasty croissants with us to the “beer tent set”. After just under 10 minutes, we received our longed-for "grand crème" in a paper cup (€5 for both), fresh from the microwave. You could drink it. We purchased from the pastry selection 1 baguette (good, solid) 1 Sacristain (tastes good, but slightly dry) 1 pain au chocolat (absolutely delicious!) We are already giving 4 stars because we assume that Mr. Martichon will have filled the previously half-empty display with more delicacies over the course of the day and that from now on the paper cups with coffee will not only come out of the microwave, but also the price should have leveled off to an appropriate level over the course of the day. :-)

The kindness of the owners, the perfect shop and the delicious pastries can only make you want to go back (the almond croissant, which is full of cream, has won over the whole tribe). The olive bread and the sourdough “Pierre” are fantastic. The small terrace in front of the sign invites you to lounge in the sun. Delighted to have been able to carry out this lovely challenge that I had set for myself, to come and taste a treat in this beautiful pastry shop during the holidays. Thanks for the advice on places to visit 😉

A little pastry today! Sitting on the terrace we enjoyed delicious pastries (Royal, Castel and Millefeuille with raspberries). What a delight ! It’s quite obvious that it’s not frozen!! Real flavors... Plus, a very warm welcome! Impossible to resist Brioche Christine! To all almond lovers, you will fall in love 😊 And the almond croissant 😍😍😍 What a treat, cream as you wish... We are generous at Martichon! Really just fun! Quiet place, perfect for a sweet break! I recommend this place with great pleasure. See you soon, on the road to vacation... We'll come back again, that's for sure!
